Presented by @mooniesclub, the Magical Girls Festival is a free day-long celebration of magical girls from Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, PreCure, Madoka Magica, Tokyo Mew Mew, and more!

*THE SELF-GUIDED MAGICAL JOURNALING & MAGICAL GIRL WAND CRAFTING area can be found in the seating area on the first floor. <3 It’ll be available from 12-4 PM, or as supplies last.

GUIDED JOURNALING: Find our magical journals with prompts created by Monster High comic book writer Jacque Aye from 12-8 PM, or as supplies last. Cost: Free.

MAGICAL GIRL WANDS CRAFTING: Join the Machi Mahou Maid Café in the seating area downstairs to make magical girl wands! They will be there from 12-4 PM, or as supplies last. Cost: Free.

MAGICAL GIRL MOVEMENT & MOBILITY: Geek Girl Strong will lead two magical girl-themed light fitness classes. Class times are 1:00-2:00 PM and 3:30-4:30 PM in the outside cabin (near the stage). Cost: Free. *Limited space*

SAILOR SENSHI DRESS ORIGAMI WITH TARO’S ORIGAMI STUDIO: Join Japan Village’s own origami studio to create Sailor Senshi dresses! Classes will take place from 1-2 PM, 2-3 PM, 3-4 PM, and 4-5 PM. Cost: $10. *Limited space*

MAGICAL GIRL SKIRTS WITH BOBINAGE: Seamstresses at Japan Village’s sewing studio, Bobinage New York, are offering to teach classes on how to make their very own Sailor Moon skirt! Although this class isn’t available today, you can drop by and ask about booking a class for a future date! Cost: Inquire in person.

The Magical Girls Festival is happening at Japan Village in Brooklyn on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 12-8 PM.

Nope it’s free! You can RSVP at magicalgirlsfest.com

Are there any panels?

Not this year! But we hope to add them in the future!

Can I cosplay?

Absolutely! All cosplay is welcomed <3
